I've spent over 50 years in professional music—now, I'm here to help you find your sound.

My professional journey began in 1968, fueled by a deep study of music theory and a passion for the stage. In 1973, I had the distinct honor of serving as the lead guitarist for Mach One, the Air Force's very first rock band. Stationed in D.C., I toured the country's major concert venues, appeared on national television, and reached a career highlight that included an invited performance at the White House.

Following my service, I spent years in the Bay Area music scene as both a talent agent and a hired guitarist for well-known acts—performing alongside names like Petula Clark, Dionne Warwick, and Bob Hope, as well as headlining for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

For the past 25 years, I have pivoted my focus to teaching. I've learned that while technical skill is vital, patience is the greatest tool a teacher can offer. I pride myself on creating a calm, supportive environment where students can truly find their voice.
